Vaco Boston has partnered with a reputable fund administrator company in the Northeast who is seeking a Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform consultative selling to build client relationships in existing and new accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
- Grow business by proactively researching, identifying and supporting sales opportunities.
- Establish strong working relationships with referral partners to enable a complete solution for clients.
- Cross-sell to existing and new clients with the goal to offer service & product capabilities.
- Build strategic relationships with key intermediaries measured against increasing the overall sales pipeline.
Essential Requirements:
- 8+ years of sales experience plus experience working within fund administration.
- Strong consultative sales and a proven successful track record.
- Experience with private funds as well as familiarity with private equity operations and industry issues.
- Understanding of financial services outsourcing and technology solutions.
