Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and management of the project schedule and budget.
- Responsible for managing and driving the assigned team members and ensuring they have the support needed to complete their assigned projects.
- Builds a thorough understanding of current work processes and systems and coordinating with department leadership to validate.
- Responsible for developing project plans related to Lean process improvement initiatives including but not limited to accurate tasks, dates, dependencies, resources related to the initiative, etc.
- Engages with department leadership to review and evaluate project plans and objectives in an effort to support various initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring participants engage in the initiative, scheduling and management of meetings and developing minutes as necessary to document and track progress
- Establishes quality and performance targets (including value propositions before and after implementations)
- Collaborate with the design and planning branches of the department to ensure a seamless transition into the construction phase of the project development.
- Collaborate with Architectural and Construction Management teams for Construction Services to ensure the design lends itself to an efficient work environment.
- Act as a member of the overall Construction Services implementation team and serve as a liaison to ensure the goals and timelines of the overall project are adhered to.
- Directly manages a portion of the junior staff within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in a Construction related field or equivalent based on experience.
- Minimum 10 years operational construction experience with an emphasis on healthcare.
