Description
Coordinates team in delivery of patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and care model. Develops the clinical program and ensures the safety and daily management of assigned behavioral health units and/or operations. Exercises independent judgment with 24-hr accountability for clinical and operational issues for assigned units/operations. May be assigned to special projects consistent with strategic, fiscal, and operational goals/targets. Assists with business plans, fiscal accountability, and clinical and resource utilization. Fosters change and teamwork.

Manager Behavioral Health position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, and must be available for on-call coverage on the weekends to help provide clinical assistance for the Staff (in person or over the phone).
Manager Behavioral Health will also float to other Behavioral Health locations in Alaska as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, or Counseling, or related field.
- Upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License, OR Alaska Professional Counselor License, OR Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License, OR Alaska Psychologist License.
- 5 years behavioral health or social services experience.
- 3 years management/supervisory experience.
