JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates and communicates key drivers of guest satisfaction for the target customer.Works with hotel management team to develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the business strategy and leads its execution.Monitors hotel operations sales performance against budget.Creates an atmosphere in all rooms' department areas that meets or exceeds guest expectations.Implement a proactive room strategy.Demonstrates ability to proactively manage situations and assist in implementing corrective actions.Works closely with Director of Sales/Convention Services Manager to sell and coordinate group events at SCH.Develop relationships with new customers and maintain and grow relationship with existing customers.Coordinates with the sales department on creation of sales campaigns.Ensures thorough communication of plans for events to all related departments.Prepares for and attends weekly revenue management meetings.Prepares for and attends weekly BEO meetings.Prepares for and attends weekly sales meetings.Meets all weekly sales productivity goalsAssist Director of Hotel Operations with any duties as assigned.EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred; two (2) year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related majorEXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience in the sales and marketing sector, preferably in hospitality.*OTHER: *Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. occasionallyThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
