Travel Radiation Therapist in Rapid City, SD

**Job Title:** Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

**Experience:** 3-5 years specific to Radiation Oncology (5 years preferred)
**License:** Not required for the state of practice
**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT Licensure
**Must-Have:** Accuray Tomotherapy experience
**Job Description:**
- Treat a variety of cancers, including but not limited to: Lung, Breast, Brain, Head/Neck, Gynecological, metastatic disease, and Lymphomas.
- Work chiefly with an outpatient population in a cancer care setting.
- Collaborate within a treatment team with a 2:1 patient ratio per treatment machine.
- Perform CT simulation with a 1:1 patient ratio during CT simulations.
- Utilize skills in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Tomotherapy.
- Preferred experience with new RADIXACT equipment and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT).
- May occasionally assist with patient transport, always accompanied by another therapist.
- Interface with Epic and Mosaiq charting systems for patient data management.
- Support provided by a team including a Supervisor of Radiation Therapy, Chief Physicist, Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, Radiation Oncologists, and Nurses.
**Additional Information:**
- No weekend shifts or on-call requirements.
- No holiday work expected.
- Up to 7 days of time off permitted without manager approval; must extend the contract accordingly.
- Orientation involves online components and department-specific training.
