Your Mission
The Warehouse Manager is part of the Marlink Supply Chain organization, based in Houston, reporting to the respective Global Warehouse Manager.
- Responsible for Marlink Houston warehouse operation and successful delivery of goods and services worldwide.
- To ensure that we deliver correct deliverables on time, on quality, and on place to the customer.
- To contribute to a detailed and systematic management of goods and services from receipt, through warehouse, to customer delivery including returns, upgrading and warranty, within ERP perfection.
Main Tasks
- Incoming and outgoing shipments, including booking and coordination of domestic and international transport.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Order picking
- Packing and wrapping goods
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Coordinate with sales, project, Logistics Order handling and customers for physical delivery
- Updating records for all movements in the ERP system, in order to keep control over stock.
- Update internal portals and customers regarding shipments including follow up on shipments.
- Invoicing of HW, freight costs to customers
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized
- Communication with team and other departments in order to process orders properly and on time.
- Operating the forklift
- Taking care of safety
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Stock count
- Report any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Other tasks as needed within Marlink Supply Chain
Qualifications & Professional skills
- MBO (level 4, administrative)
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
- Proficiency in ERP software, databases, and systems.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift license
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Affinity with computers and electronics
