What This Job Involves

Managing industry changing projects

As a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. You will contribute to the development of project budgeting and scheduling and overseeing the strategy and execution through completion of construction. You will be focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities.

As a Project Manager, you will contribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives and best practices to drive results as a team. Essential Functions

  1. Develop and execute project specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategy and detailed assumptions with methodology for accomplishing and/or managing projects and objectives.
  2. Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meet both JLL and client needs.
  3. Build and maintain rapport with client representatives and ensure that the scopes of project and outside business forces affecting the project is fully understood and that specific deliverables are fully understood with performance standards and other relevant criteria.
  4. Coordinate any necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients and/or end users, maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentation.
  5. Develop a detailed project budget based on historical and market data and clearly defined set of budget assumptions.
  6. Act as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the duration of the project. Guide the client and team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documentation and signoff.
  7. Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended time-frames.
  8. Prepare various RFP's needed for vendor and contractor services as well as manage the contractor, vendor selection process.
  9. Develop procedures for distribution, receipt, opening, levelling and award of projects and services.
  10. Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders and external users to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately and effectively communicated and understood by all concerned.
  11. Manage project performance against schedules, scheduled milestones and critical path items on multiple projects.
  12. Manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, all regulating entities and client expectations.
  13. Achieves KPIs
  14. Develop and present content for 3x annual Business review with the client and JLL team.

Other

  1. Must be able to be onsite at Client site 3 days a week minimum.
  2. Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
  3. Must be energetic and able to train PDS team members.
  4. Must have a philosophy of integration with the Client and other JLL service line leaders/team members.

Both verbal and written communication skills are vital, and, of course, you'll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.

The real estate and construction industries are consistently changing with technology. You'll need to make technology work to your advantage. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
