SUMMARY :

The ERP Manager will play a pivotal role in the technical support and utilization of our Prophet 21 ERP application. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the system's performance, reliability, and alignment with our business processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for our ERP system (P21), including user setup, access permissions, and troubleshooting.
  2. Use your in-depth knowledge of P21 to handle complex issues, design and implement solutions, and test and validate system processes for all departments and end users.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  4. Analyze business processes and system performance to recommend improvements and enhancements.
  5. Ensure the reliability and performance of the ERP system and its infrastructure.
  6. Review and improve the ERP system structure and capabilities to enable business growth and efficiency.
  7. Manage and mentor the ERP support team, conduct performance reviews, and set and monitor IT KPIs.
  8. Identify and solve any ERP application problems and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  9. Manage SQL databases associated with the ERP system, including monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning.
  10. Serve as the SQL database administrator, ensuring data integrity, security, and disaster recovery strategies.
  11. Lead ERP system upgrades and patches, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to minimize downtime.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  1. Minimum 3 – 5 years of proven experience managing ERP systems and working on all technology needed to run a business.
  2. Proficient in ERP systems (ideally Epicor Prophet 21), SQL Server management, query writing and optimization, SSIS and SSRS.
  3. Strong experience in managing and administering SQL databases.
  4. Certifications in SQL database management.
  5. Advanced knowledge of IT functions and disciplines.
  6. Familiarity with ERP system upgrades, data migration, and integration.
  7. Strong ability to build solid relationships in teams, with peers and management.
  8. Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience in project management.
  9. Strong ability to work well under pressure.
  10. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  11. Passionate, adaptable, customer-focused, and teamwork oriented.
  12. Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
