Overview:
Develop deep knowledge of CCS and build both horizontal and vertical relationships with business and IT leaders that deliver business impact.
The successful candidate will report directly to Vice President, Technology Partnership & Solutions. The position location is flexible, but the placement must be willing to travel sometimes.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for engagement on technology issues with both internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders will include ELT and SLT leadership teams as well as other internal stakeholders across all departments and scrum teams. The primary intention of engaging ELT and SLT stakeholders is to collaborate to lead the process of defining business use cases for the application of technical solutions. The primary purpose of engagement with all departmental stakeholders is to identify and generate the supporting business knowledge for defining and delivering business use cases. The primary intention of engaging with Scrum team stakeholders is to support them in the implementation of business use cases.
External stakeholders can include but not be limited to technical vendors, technology partners, and talent vendors. The primary intention of engaging technical vendors is to work with them in the cases where potential or selected solution approaches for business use cases is a third-party solution. External technology partners often take the form of technical consulting organizations. In these cases, the intention is to engage with these partners to create a productive contribution of the technology partner consultants. The intention of engaging with talent vendors is to partner with them to support the onboarding of technical team members.
- Ensure that CCS Health’s strategy and key performance indicators are identified and leveraged for effective IT demand shaping.
- Ensure that project/program managers and IT staff assigned to projects are knowledgeable about the business unit or function, business partner(s), and their objectives.
- Partner with enterprise architects to develop technology enablement business capability roadmaps.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to evaluate proposals, build business cases, and plan new joint initiatives, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.
- Ensure delivery of new technology solutions and capabilities in accordance with the roadmap and ensure they meet established objectives and expectations of business partners.
- Coach business partners and enable them to articulate the technology needs and requirements in their function that will advance business performance.
- Be the principal technology advisor to business units and a champion for identifying, leading and driving information technology transformation.
- Partner with business transformation or change management teams to ensure that the business unit or function has the capacity and capabilities to implement changes required by new technology solutions.
- Share ownership of the business value results of technology related projects; measure and communicate business value results on a regular basis.
- Proactively identify business capability and IT service gaps and contribute to improvement efforts.
- Advocate for and advance business partners’ knowledge of IT processes, frameworks, roles, and capabilities.
- Develop value-adding Technology Partner professional maturity, individually and for the entire function.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, and 7-10 years of IT experience preferably as a technology partner or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Demonstrated experience in partnering to solve business problems through technology.
- Relevant and practical experience in delivering multiple IT projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management principles, methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of change management principles.
- Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and work across a broad range of IT functions.
- Expertise in developing technical options and analysis.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders by explaining complex technology topics in a manner that relates to business stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence, persuade and motivate others.
- Highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
