THE JOB

Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking a Regional Vice President, Sponsorship Sales. This role will be responsible for managing a team of experienced Sponsorship Sales Executives, focused on maximizing revenue against Live Nation owned/operated venues, festivals, and digital platforms.

Live Nation Media & Sponsorship architects, sells, and manages the company’s national corporate sponsorship programs with the world’s most recognizable brands. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Oversee the creation, development & packaging of solution-based music marketing programs at Live Nation owned/operated venues and regional festivals.
  • Work closely with sales team to qualify and engage senior level decision makers at brands and agencies in a strategic manner.
  • Motivate sales team to achieve & exceed personal and team revenue goals.
  • Systemically manage the development, sale, and execution of sponsorship inventory across dozens of venues.
  • Structure, price, negotiate, and close integrated sponsorship platforms that align with Live Nation priorities.
  • Collaborate with leadership on annual market-by-market strategy.
  • Meet challenging revenue goals & manage a complex budget.
  • Regularly travel to assigned markets to meet with clients & prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the country, including Media & Sponsorship team members, as well as venue leadership.
  • Quality control over sponsor activations and promotions.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance with LN standards.
  • Oversee account contracts, invoicing, and receivables.
  • Grow business annually.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • A minimum of 12 years of sponsorship sales experience with extensive venue sales accomplishments.
  • Proven track record of successfully working with brands to create, sell and execute best-in-class innovative experiential marketing programs.
  • Experience managing a top-performing sales team remotely; willingness to travel to markets to meet with clients, prospects and venue operators.
  • Excellent sales, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and planning in a high-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationships with senior level marketing executives at relevant companies located in or doing business in the assigned markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationships and work effectively at all levels of the decision process.
  • Capacity for creative and innovating thinking.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A passion for live music.
  • Ability to travel 30% of time or more, often including nights and weekends during season.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
