Specific responsibilities include:


  1. Design and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for customer journey flows.
  2. Write scalable UI automation tests against multiple product categories of Samsung.
  3. Report and track issues identified on automation runs.
  4. Collaborate with product managers and developers to define use cases to be automated.
  5. Investigate defects including what is failing and where it is failing.
  6. Work on building tools and scripts to validate information shown on clients (Web/App/MobileWeb) based on source data reference.
  7. Build test frameworks and automation scripts to perform user journey testing.
  8. Co-ordinate with geographically co-located teams across time zones.
  9. Hands on coding, debugging and fixing of automation scripts in Javascript / Typescript and NodeJS.

Role And Responsibilities


Background & Competencies Required:


  1. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  2. 6+ years of QA experience in Client Apps (Web, Progressive Web App, Mobile App).
  3. 3+ years of Strong Automation Experience on Web.
  4. 2+ years of Automation Experience on Mobile Apps.
  5. Strong coding skills in Javascript / Typescript and NodeJS.
  6. Experience in Ecommerce domain’s purchase journey.
  7. Understanding of automation with stub and mocked data from integrated systems.
  8. Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Experience in Agile Testing Quadrants and building.

Skills And Qualifications


The salary range for this role is expected to be between $148,000 and $170,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
