Job Summary: Air Systems Inc. is looking for a MEP Project Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager. This position will specialize in design engineering or project management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Estimating
- Requesting quotes (RFQs)
- Complete takeoffs
- Prepare summary of costs
- Draft proposal letters
- Design
- Complete load calculations
- Specify equipment
- Prepare T24 documentation
- Develop permit drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Project Management Support
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Coordinate with field personnel
- Perform job site visits
- Review and compile submittal packages
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/R concentration preferred
- 3-5 + years HVAC Experience in project engineering
- Experience working with Revit
- E.I.T. Certification, P.E. license a plus
