The UCSF School of Dentistry is committed to providing outstanding, integrated patient-centered care. The student providers in the Dental Student Predoctoral Clinic provide dental treatment to 35,000 patients annually. There are five positions that support the Dispensary/ Central Sterilization Unit in the maintenance of dental inventory. This position is responsible for understanding the protocols for dispensing/restocking materials from the dispensary and supporting the Sterilization Area in sterilization and distribution of dental instruments. Responsibilities include checking in and out dental instruments and maintaining the sterilization process, as well as participating in inventory control and delivery of dental supplies.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. The salary range for this position is $26.76 - $33.45 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
- High School graduation and one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- 2 years' experience as a dental assistant or in the sterilization of dental instrumentation.
- Physical ability to meet the requirements of the position.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chair side dental assistant experience.
