Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid)

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the company's business systems, with a special focus on investment recordkeeping data and custodian integrations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Mapping:
   1. Analyze investment recordkeeping file specifications and define mapping requirements to normalize data into CircleBlack standard formats.
   2. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure that data from various custodian partners is accurately integrated into business systems.
   3. Engage custodian partner subject matter experts to resolve complex mapping questions and data integration issues.
2. Testing & Validation:
   1. Develop test plans and execute testing strategies to ensure that data mappings are processed correctly within CircleBlack systems.
   2. Test and validate that mappings have been processed as expected, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business standards.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Experience:
   1. 1-3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably with experience in investment recordkeeping or financial systems.
   2. Experience with data mapping, integration, and system implementation.
3. Skills:
   1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
   2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
   3. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and familiarity with data mapping methodologies.
   4. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
   5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Knowledge of financial systems or investment management platforms.
2. Experience in working with custodian partners and resolving data mapping challenges.
