Responsibilities For The Property Accountant

• Journal entry process
• Bank account reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Analyze commissions
• Fixed asset depreciation, journal entry preparation
• Financial reporting for portfolio
• Distributions
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Ad hoc reporting and special projects

Qualifications For The Property Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of Accounting experience
• Real Estate experience a plus
• Yardi or similar software
• QuickBooks a plus
• MS Excel experience
