Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time RECOVERY CLINICIAN for our MEXICO MISSOURI location. This is an in-office position and may provide support in our MOBERLY MISSOURI location. Role Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma, co-occurring, individualized, and family therapy with trauma and co-occurring services provided by individual and group services
  • Utilize generally accepted principles of therapy to identify and improve consumer functioning and family interaction patterns
  • Develop a need or motivation for change with consumers and family members
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and subsequent reports, progress notes, treatment plans and other related documentation
  • Promote healthy family interaction independent of formal helping systems with use of insight, structure and enhanced skills to stabilize change
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and diagnostic disposition conferences to determine consumers' individual needs, eligibility and appropriateness of services
  • Cooperate with Clinicial Director and Program Directors to enhance current programming or develop new programming in response to consumer and community needs.
  • Assist in representing the agency in cooperation with staff members at community functions focused on substance use and mental health issues and activities for community education and marketing of services
  • Conduct or aid in preparation and presentation of professional development activities and/or materials for staff members
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director of Recovery Services or VP of Clinical Operations
Adherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is required.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
  • Current Missouri license or pursuing state licensure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of alcohol and drug addiction
