**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
**Job Specialty:** Nursing
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 10-hour Day Shift
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** Preferably 1-year experience in Interventional Radiology; First-time travelers accepted with IR experience
**License:** WI License required
**Certifications:** ARRT, BLS
**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in basic to advanced Interventional Radiology procedures
- Experience with both General IR and Neuro IR cases preferred
- Comfortable with scrubbing and panning simultaneously
- Experience with Siemens and GE equipment preferred
**Job Description:**
- Perform a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures including, but not limited to, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central line/piccs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filter, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoracentesis/paracentesis
- Support CT Room procedures such as cryosurgeries, CT biopsies, drains, etc.
- Neuro IR procedures to include stroke interventions, DSA, embolization, WADA tests, spinal angiograms
- Provide care for approximately 40-50 adult patients per day
- Participate in on-call schedule:
- Weekday call: One shift per week, from shift end of service until 0700 the following day
- Weekend call: Once every 5th weekend, from shift end of service on Friday until 0700 Monday
- Orientation with a preceptor for 1-2 weeks
- Use of technology and equipment like EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis for medication dispensing, Siemens and GE equipment, MedRad Injector
- Floating not required
- Scrub colors provided
- Coordinator, leads, tech specialists, imaging assistants, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and CNAs available for support
**Schedule Preferences:**
- Manager open to altering shift times and configurations based on needs
- Current weekend rotation call only, subject to change
- Up to 7 days of requested time off will be considered for approval
Please note: All work performed is to support a facility with Level III Trauma Center, NICU, Magnet Designation, and Comprehensive Stroke Center credentials, servicing adults with no pediatrics involved.
