Responsibilities
Position Highlights:
- Full Time opportunity with Benefits
- Working week on / week off schedule as hospitalist (ability to work in Outpatient environvment on off weeks if interested)
- Must be comfortable with the following procedures: intubation, mech vent, moderate sedation, thoracentesis, paracentesis
- Providing medicine services for MedSurge Behavioral Health and Preop units; avg 10-14 patients/day
- Rounding on patients each day in hospital 8-9 hours/day and is on call the remainder of the day during your work week.
- Ability to utilize telehealth while on call if needed

- 60 licensed beds (currently operating as private rooms)
- 15 bed Acute Care Floor plus a 14-bed Geropsych Inpatient Unit

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
