We have an opportunity for a Service Sales Representative to join our team of over 1,100 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry in our Austin, Texas location. The primary role of the Service Sales Representative is to maintain and grow end user and service sales within a defined customer base and geographical territory.

  • Identify customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet objectives.
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential customers by scheduling sales calls.
  • Follow up on leads, utilizing Firetrol’s marketing strategies.
  • Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform the necessary follow-up for a successful closing of the sale.
  • Responsible for providing and negotiating pricing for inspection contract sales.
  • Interface effectively with district operations to deliver and improve delivery.
  • Deliver sales against a targeted quota.
  • Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow-up sales.
  • Report progress and supply metrics to operation and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations, and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company’s image.

Requirements

  1. The candidate must have experience in a sales role that includes presenting to potential clients and negotiating in direct sales opportunities.
  2. Basic knowledge of the Fire Protection Industry, Sprinkler experience preferred but not required.
  3. Business to Business Sales (3 to 5 years minimum)
