As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the enterprise market segment.

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy at imgix. This role requires a proven track record of success in selling to enterprise customers, a deep understanding of SaaS solutions, and experience managing account executives and customer success teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, possess a strong background in enterprise sales, and have the ability to effectively communicate the value of our image and video optimization services. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO and be a part of the executive team, providing valuable insights and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

This is a remote role (US or Canada timezones) but must be willing to travel at least once a month to meet with the team and attend customer meetings in person.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at achieving significant revenue growth.
  2. Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to the sales and customer success teams.
  3. Strategically identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities within the enterprise space.
  4. Set a compelling example as a sales expert and leader.
  5. Foster strong collaboration and synergy with cross-functional teams.
  6. Proactively monitor sales performance metrics.
  7. Conduct regular reviews of pipeline metrics.
  8. Collaborate with Human Resources to design and implement robust sales training programs.
  9. Remain at the forefront of industry trends.
  10. Act as a prominent ambassador for imgix at industry events.

Requirements

  1. 8+ years of demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
  2. Deep understanding of the SaaS industry.
  3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  4. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  5. Strong analytical skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit.
  8. Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.

The targeted base pay range for this position is $190,000 to $250,000, which includes a significant bonus component. Individual pay is based on factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

imgix currently operates as a mostly remote workplace. This role can be remote, with the option of being based in our San Francisco office. Employee benefits are comprehensive.
