About the Role:
Prominent Chicago Law Firm with an excellent culture and good work-life balance seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel level attorney with 5+ years of experience in all facets of complex commercial litigation . Candidates must have experience drafting and responding to pleadings, handling substantive/dispositive motion practice (including arguing motions in court), managing extensive written discovery, taking and defending depositions, trial experience, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. AmLaw 200 or Elite Litigation Boutique experience is required, as well as top law school academics.
Requirements:
- Law Degree from an ABA-approved Law School
- Active license to practice law in Illinois (or eligibility to waive in)
- At least 5 years of post-JD experience practicing complex commercial litigation
- Trial experience
