Ruby on Rails Developer

AKKODIS is seeking a Ruby Developer for a full-time job with a client located in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants who have proven experience in third-party integration.

Salary Range: $130k to $140k/Annually +Benefits.

Responsibility :

• Be an integral part of our team responsible for the implementation of the client platform for our large enterprise clients.
• Work with other teams to diagnose and improve overall data processing efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in system integration and/or backend software development.
• 6+ years of development experience in Ruby on Rails/ Ruby.
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.

Experience

• Experience in system integration roles as part of an enterprise software implementation in a cloud-based environment.
• Prior SaaS/Custom software Integration experience is key - the focus of this role is customizing their software to integrate with client systems - primarily using Ruby/RoR (Java is a plus) - 6 years +
• Integration engineers are building APIs"s and need to interface with customers to understand systems - excellent comm is a must here.
• TOP SKILLS - RoR/Ruby, REST API's, excellent comm, prior custom software integration experience, degree
