Vice President Finance

Role: Vice President

Location: Houston TX.

Compensation: Dependant on experience.

My client is a Private Equity start up, that specialises on helping U.S renewable energy project sponsors tap into tax incentives. They focus on innovative structuring techniques from tax equity, renewables finance and global project finance.

They are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Tax equity structuring professional to join there team in Houston. If you thrive on solving intricate structuring and modelling challenges and enjoy working in a start up environment with a small team, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the structuring, modelling, and supervision of tax equity investments into renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate to craft term sheets that create win-win scenarios for investors and projects.
• Take transactions from signed term sheets through documentation, due diligence and closing.
• Embrace a hands on role, in a fast paced environment with direct exposure.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in tax equity structuring and passion for financial modelling.
• Strong ability to develop creative structures for investment strategies into term sheets and convert these into finalized transactions.
• Comfortable in a start-up culture, and willing to be hands on managing.
• Background in Renewable energy or related sectors.
• Based in Houston with the ability to work daily in office, while maintaining flexibility for travel
• Ideally have worked in a developer/ IPP, (utility-scale battery or solar ITC projects).
