Travel Nurse RN - Wound/Ostomy in Rapid City, SD

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Wound Care (Ostomy Certified)
**Job Specialty:** Inpatient Wound Care

**Shift:** 8 Hour Variable
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required
**License:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing approved
**Certifications:**
- BLS (required)
- Wound care certification (required)
- Ostomy certification (CWOCN) (required)
**Must-Have:**
- General wound care background
- Experience with Wound Vacs
- Proficiency in Nurse Level Debridement
- Ability to Perform ABIs and Cast cutting
**Job Description:**
- Provide care to a diverse group of wound care patients with various conditions such as diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries.
- Manage patient load effectively, typically handling 1 patient per hour, dependent on patient's complexity.
- Collaborate with outpatient and inpatient teams consisting of certified nurse practitioners (CNPs), RNs, and CNAs.
- Utilize EPIC charting system; notify if EPIC experience is not available for possible approval.
- Be flexible to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings as needed.
- Function independently and contribute to a close-knit team environment.
- Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no nights, weekends, or major holidays.
- Wear navy blue scrubs as uniform.
