Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant Coordinator to join our team. As a leading healthcare organization, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and innovative treatments to our patients. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and managing allogeneic stem cell transplant procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of allogeneic stem cell transplant procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplants.
3. Serve as a resource and a point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding allogeneic stem cell transplant procedures and related care.
4. Assess and evaluate patients' eligibility for allogeneic stem cell transplant, including conducting thorough medical histories and physical examinations.
5. Monitor patients' progress throughout the transplant process, identifying and addressing any complications or adverse reactions promptly.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols.
7. Educate and support patients and their families on the transplant process, including pre-transplant preparation, post-transplant care, and potential side effects.
8. Collaborate with the research team to collect and analyze data related to allogeneic stem cell transplant procedures, contributing to ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.
9. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in allogeneic stem cell transplantation, attending conferences and participating in professional development opportunities.
10. Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

1. Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. BSN preferred.
2. Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in AZ; or willing to obtain
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in stem cell, oncology, hematology or BMT nursing
4. Strong knowledge and experience in cellular therapy, stem cell transplantation, and related procedures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
6. Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant software applications.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.
8. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
9. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during challenging times.
10. Certification in oncology nursing strongly preferred
