Data Scientist

Tencent is looking for a Data Scientist to help provide analytical insights and solutions for business problems within the gaming sector. The candidate will collaborate with data product managers and engineers to design and implement end-to-end solutions for game production, publishing, and live operations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data for decision-making scenarios in the R&D, marketing, and operation stages of the gaming industry
• Develop scalable, efficient, and automated processes for data analysis and machine-learning model development, validation, and serving
• Collaborate with data product managers and engineers to design and implement comprehensive solutions
• Research and explore new machine learning approaches, such as AIGC-related technologies, for potential applications in gaming

This role requires you to have:

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, machine learning, or math/statistics
• Expertise in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis, including probabilities, time series analysis, machine learning models, A/B testing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Strong understanding and insights into the gaming industry
