The Opportunity
As a member of our Service Delivery team, you'll be responsible for processing new business, renewals, and all policy transactions through the company's financial system in a timely and accurate manner. Provide support to the department on developing requirements for reports for policy level transactions from external clients. Provide training for others in the department on data entry, coding, and policy issuance.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will:
  • Provide policy processing support for all transactions for the branches and external clients.
  • Process cancellation, nonrenewal and conditional renewal requests.
  • Manually process failed interfaced transactions as required.
  • Evaluate premium discrepancies and resolve.
  • Participate in developing business requirements, user testing and troubleshooting regarding data capturing requirements.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of Operational reports as requested.
  • Assist and train other Customer Service Assistants as needed.
  • Assist in projects as requested.
Job Requirements:
  • 3 years or more years' experience working in insurance operations or policy administration or recent bachelor's degree.
  • Tech savviness and a willingness to experiment with and learn new technologies. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to think strategically and function tactically under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent consultative skills which can be deployed at any level of an organization, including creativity, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Keyboard skills.
