The Security Supervisor is responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and daily monitoring of security staff and serves as the liaison between local Law Enforcement and The Summit.

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.

Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and daily monitoring of security staff
  2. Perform security patrols across all base areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates, using both vehicle patrols and foot patrols.
  3. Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations
  4. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
  5. Assists guests and employees in the resolution of problems they encounter on our property

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  1. Must be able to make quick decisions regarding safety
  2. Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
  3. Demonstrated strong English verbal and written communication skills
  4. Ability to write and investigate required reports
  5. Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage range for this positions is: from $21.00 to $26.00/hr

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
