Your opportunity
- Provide day-to-day legal support for business partners across a broad range of business areas, with escalation to others in the team as required.
- Review and support the preparation of fund prospectuses, statements of additional information, and supplements for the Janus Henderson mutual funds and ETFs, including drafting new disclosure and working with outside counsel on registration statement matters.
- Prepare and review materials, including minutes, for, and attend, meetings of the Boards of Trustees of the Janus Henderson mutual funds and ETFs.
- Review financial statement disclosure for the Janus Henderson mutual funds and ETFs.
- Assist with the annual 15(c) process for Janus Henderson mutual funds and ETFs.
- Assist with regulatory and business change initiatives.
- Advise and draft agreements for the Janus Henderson mutual funds and ETFs.
- Maintain and foster a strong culture of compliance.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills
- At least 2 years relevant experience within a law firm or financial services company.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Investment Company Act.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise sound legal judgment balanced with business needs.
- Ability to prioritize across a wide range of work and to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
- Admission to at least one state bar.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open until February 16, 2024.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team, and individual performance.
