Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Direct-to-Consumer Strategy: Craft and execute strategies that resonate with our community of adventure seekers.
  • Online Sales Leadership: Oversee our online sales channels, ensuring our community gets the best products swiftly and smoothly.
  • Service Provider / Agency Management: Build strong partnerships to enhance our operational efficiency and marketing performance.
  • Marketing Technology: Harness cutting-edge tech to drive sales, engage on a deeper level, and conquer new frontiers.
  • Lifetime Value Analysis: Dive deep into data to understand our customers, fostering strategies that boost loyalty and sales.
  • Customer Experience: Place our community at the heart of all decisions, ensuring they always have stellar experiences with us.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and guide a team of passionate professionals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Turn numbers into narratives, influencing and driving our sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, previous experience in the outdoor industry preferred.
  • A natural leader, innovator, and a passion for the great outdoors.
  • Proven track record in building a successful, fast-growing ecommerce business, preferably at an outdoor brand.
  • Previous experience operating in a multi-channel environment (wholesale, brick-and-mortar retail, DTC, etc.) a big plus.
  • Previous success in growing a D2C program to acquire new customers, increase retention - including orders per customer and order frequency - to improve customer lifetime revenue and value while balancing top-line revenue, contribution margin, and brand equity.
  • Ability to work across functions and across an executive team to catalyze change in a positive, collaborative, and transparent way.
