The Shay, located at the intersection of creativity and comfort, is a six-story, 148-room boutique hotel where guests can experience a thriving hub of arts, entertainment, and technology.
Ivy Station is a 500,000-square foot mixed-use transit-oriented development anticipated to open October 2021. In addition to The Shay, Ivy Station comprises a 240,000-square foot office building already leased to WarnerMedia, 200 apartments, 50,000 square feet of ground floor retail and restaurant space, 2 acres of publicly accessible outdoor space, and 1,500 below-grade parking spaces. The Shay and Ivy Station are located right on the Culver City stop of the Metro E Line, running from Downtown Los Angeles to Santa Monica.

The Senior Sales Manager-Group is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, soliciting and generating business. Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. The Senior Sales Manager will also participate and may lead event meetings, sales, and other staff meetings. The Senior Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff in close contact with the assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

The salary range for this position is $79,000 to $102,000. This is the pay range for this position that The Shay reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Excited and passionate about upscale hotel sales and negotiations in a boutique lifestyle environment
