Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler for a warehouse in Joliet, IL. Join a dynamic team and take the next step in your career with a role that offers hands-on work and great benefits!
Pay: $17.50/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM
As a Material Handler, you will support warehouse operations by:
  • Picking, packing, and kitting items for shipment
  • Performing light warehouse cleanup
  • Loading and unloading trailers and railcars, transporting loads to designated areas
  • Verifying product on inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Operating handheld scanners and assisting with cycle counts and inventory management
  • Conducting daily maintenance checks on equipment
  • Following all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift and working in a warehouse
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse
