Job Summary
As part of a team, provide support of multiple program functions for Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Authorized Stockage Lists (ASL) and Shop Stock (SS) determination mission and supported areas with a wide range of customer requirements in the Army supply systems and operations to develop, implement and sustain ASL/SS for the Army.
Duties:
• Utilize your skills in preparing procedures, information papers, briefings and reports.
• Produce information papers, briefings, reports and analyses which logically state the issues and reach conclusions which are supported by the data and analysis.
• Perform Non-ERP Analysis to assist the development of ASL/SS recommendation packages, from the ground up, and augmentations to an ASL/SS in the theater of operation to support mission requirements.
• Utilize of Decision Support Tools: that consists of but not limited to decision support tools within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution, Logistics Data Analytics Center (LDAC), ASC Redstone Arsenal Detachment (LAN), and/or other DoD logistics systems, Oracle, TOAD, Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL), Statistical Analysis System (SAS), UNIX Operating System, Business Intelligence Suite of Tools or their replacements.
• Provide support to tasks which arrive on an as needed basis, completing the tasked analysis by the suspense date, by the requester's instructions and provide results to the requestor for planning and or approval for implementation into GCSS-A or other system as directed.
• Research and respond to daily calls and email correspondence.
• Attend Meetings and Workshops as required.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Secret Clearance requirement for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
• Knowledge of GSCC Army, LMP, Decision Support Tools (DST) consisting of Oracle, Structured Query Language (SQL) Business Intelligence Suite of Tools and Microsoft Suite of Tools.
• Have knowledgeable of logistics database development and supply procedures including developing and documenting functional processing logic, programming specifications, data relationships, and functional testing.
• Possess ability in Identifying areas of programmatic deficiency and in making recommendations for enhancements.
• High School Diploma and 10 years of experience in a related field or a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong team communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel ~ 10%.
Desired Skills & Certifications
• An advanced degree.
• Previous government program office experience.
