Job Description:

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Red, Hunt, and Blue teams in Defensive Cybersecurity Operations. In this role, you will work closely with a team of professional systems administrators, developers, and mission operators and be given an opportunity to learn from others and share your knowledge with a receptive team. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED and nine (9) years of relevant experience. Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development; programming, information/cyber/network security; vulnerability analysis; penetration testing; computer forensics; information assurance and/or systems engineering.
  • Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
  • Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
  • Experience applying information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs) and other updates.
  • Experience supporting laptop builds for mission operations.
  • Experience providing administrative support for Splunk Cluster.
  • Virtual Machine (VM) build and support experience.
  • CentOS administration experience.
  • Some Windows Administration experience or familiarity with Windows.
  • Ability to work closely with developers and operators to define requirements and design solutions.

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with Nutanix.
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow, GitLab, Jira.
  • Experience supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage or remote storage.
  • Experience implementing security best practices.
  • Familiarity with maintaining inventory of infrastructure hardware.
