Storm Reply is seeking a customer-obsessed Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our consulting team. We are looking for an individual with expertise in architecting, designing, and deploying enterprise-scale cloud solutions on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Consultants who are focused on engaging clients and delivering business outcomes. Their primary job is to ensure that our clients achieve their objectives.
- Individuals who have an understanding of AWS services and the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Experienced in delivering consulting projects proving the value of AWS services.
- Experienced working on migration projects, including moving applications and the cloud infrastructure automation to house them.
- Obsessed with learning about new AWS services as they come to market or even before they are generally available.
- Excellent communicators who understand the importance of communication in a consultant's job.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math, MIS, or a related field with a strong foundation in networking is preferred.
- 8 years of professional experience and at least 4 years of consulting experience required.
- 4 years of consulting experience working with enterprise cloud platforms with at least two referenceable engagements on AWS.
- Current AWS Certification – as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – and one or more Specialty Badges in networking, DevOps, or SAP on AWS.
- Demonstrable experience working with AWS Platform Services, AWS’ Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience working both autonomously and within a larger team.
- Able to discuss and share knowledge around topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure, DevOps, IT Transformation, infrastructure automation, monitoring and observability, and Application Migration.
- Experience working within common project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
