Role Description:
- Should be able to handle batch related errors and take appropriate action for production batch cycle Job failures.
- Should be able to handle and provide permanent solution for break fixes and develop code for AS400 enhancements and project deliveries.
- Experience of working directly with IT and Business stakeholders.
- Experience in requirement gathering, designing and solutioning.
- Flexible for weekend L2 & RFC (Change Request) support as per rotational basis.
Essential Skills:
- Project experience in Application Support and development in AS400 and Batch jobs,
- Project experience in AS400 - RPG, CL & DB2 and SQL.
- Must have complete understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
Desirable Skills:
- Attitude to learn new technologies depending on Project need.
- Knowledge of Agile and tools like JIRA.
- Knowledge of Insurance domain (Annuities)Basis Knowledge on CONTROL M monitoring & Support for Jobs Knowledge of Aldon tool & OnDemand tool is an added advantage.
