The Evans School of Public Policy & Governance has an outstanding opportunity for a Recruiting and Admissions Manager to join the Student Affairs team, which serves nearly 500 students across various programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Recruiting and Admissions Manager will work in a small and collaborative team to enroll diverse cohorts of highly qualified students to the Evans School. Responsibilities include:

  1. Outreach & Recruitment: (75% FTE)
    • Execute and manage the recruitment strategy for prospective student engagement alongside the Director of Admissions.
    • Support efforts to build a pipeline of diverse students from community organizations.
    • Counsel and advise prospective students on Evans School degrees and programs.
    • Work with the Director of Admissions to develop and present information sessions and application workshops.
    • Develop and manage the Evans Student Ambassador Program.
    • Lead the planning of major recruitment events.
    • Respond to inquiries about program fees, financial aid, and the application process.
    • Represent the programs at career fairs and recruiting events.
    • Stay current on recruiting strategies and trends.
    • Identify and undertake special projects as needed.
  2. Admissions & New Student Onboarding: (25% FTE)
    • Implement and administer the admission application process.
    • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the admissions process.
    • Review and evaluate applications for admission.
    • Prepare admission decision materials and convey decisions to candidates.
    • Participate in new student onboarding and orientation activities.
    • Collaborate to execute marketing and communication materials for students.
    • Hire and manage student employees supporting recruitment and admissions activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent.
  • Two to three years of experience in an admissions/advising/counseling capacity.
