Job Requirements / Description

Due to our continuing and steady growth we are seeking Human Resources Specialist.


Essential Functions:

  1. Benefit administration; open enrollment activities, processing health benefits and communicating benefits information to employees
  2. Administers the company cafeteria plan and process all reimbursements
  3. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conducts new-employee orientations
  4. Participates in administrative staff meetings, and employee events
  5. Maintains the company organizational charts and the employee directory
  6. Assists with employee relations; counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
  7. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook
  8. Maintains the human resource systems
  9. Manages attendance and payroll-related activities
  10. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations


Required Education and Experience

· Three years of HR experience

· Proven experience in payroll and/or benefit administration

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Aptitude in problem-solving

· Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach

· Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
