Due to our continuing and steady growth we are seeking Human Resources Specialist.
Essential Functions:
- Benefit administration; open enrollment activities, processing health benefits and communicating benefits information to employees
- Administers the company cafeteria plan and process all reimbursements
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; conducts new-employee orientations
- Participates in administrative staff meetings, and employee events
- Maintains the company organizational charts and the employee directory
- Assists with employee relations; counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook
- Maintains the human resource systems
- Manages attendance and payroll-related activities
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
Required Education and Experience
· Three years of HR experience
· Proven experience in payroll and/or benefit administration
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Aptitude in problem-solving
· Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
· Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
