Job Description
Infotrend, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to join a high-performance team delivering exceptional consulting services for our federal government customers. The PM will serve as the central point of contact between Infotrend and the Government / Agency client. The PM will leverage excellent leadership and communication skills to keep the team organized and on track, while maintaining the highest standards and quality of deliverables. The primary responsibilities for this key role include, but are not limited to:
- Meet at least weekly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Alternate Contracting Officer Representative (ACOR), and/or other Agency stakeholders to review program status.
- Proactively manage and mentor resources; lead the team in defining and maintaining high performance standards.
- Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the program with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage a team of business and/or technical Subject Matter Experts.
- Provide guidance to all team members on program scope, objectives, schedule, quality, and expectations.
- Track status for all program deliverables, ensuring ownership and accountability for each.
- Ensure that all program artifacts are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop complete and accurate weekly status reports including team activities and progress toward milestones, as well as risks, issues, and decisions.
- Measure program performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Appropriately and quickly escalate significant issues, dependencies, and risks.
- Independently manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ensure transparency between the program / project team(s), Infotrend management, and Agency leadership.
- Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders from various Agency divisions or offices to ensure compliance with quality, privacy, and security standards.
- Quickly adapt to various tools of the trade, such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 15 years of professional experience including program / project management, business / systems / data analysis, process improvement, and/or strategic planning.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to think critically and articulately communicate ideas for innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of agile or hybrid waterfall/agile methodologies.
- Highly developed understanding of client drivers and behaviors.
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans.
- Understanding of, and ability to execute upon program / project management core competencies.
- Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, including management of high-volume, competing priorities.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership skills, with a strong team-focus and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Strong customer service acumen and commitment.
- Sole U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
