Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and skilled Machine Builders I & II to join our growing team. In these roles, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various machinery components while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
What We Offer:
SUMMARY:
Assists with the building, conditioning, and qualification of automated machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists with reading electrical schematics and wiring of panels.
2. Assembles machines and sub-assemblies under supervision.
3. Assists with the pneumatic plumbing of machines.
4. Conditions tooling to improve fit and machine performance.
5. Operates machines for production qualification runs.
6. Maintains and adjusts automation equipment to optimize production before shipping.
7. Assists with troubleshooting and debugging mechanical and electrical problems on machines.
8. Helps prepare machines for shipment (securing, crating, re-assembly).
9. Follows HPEC Automation build standards
10. Follows OSHA regulations and US & International machine safety standards.
11. Travels as required to support projects (up to 10%)
12. Any other duties as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of related experience
Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings
High school diploma or equivalent
AS degree in manufacturing technology preferred
Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker preferred
