Hotel Manager Position

Description:

1. Monitor employee performance and update owners weekly on job performance and occupancy numbers and rates.
2. Keep track of the local events to ensure optimal occupancy pricing.
3. Maintain a close watch on P&L reports to determine areas where profitability can be improved.
4. Keep the general ledger books up to date and accurate.
5. Do general maintenance work as needed.
6. Handle laundry in between check-ins.
7. Run front desk operations (check-ins, check-outs, phone calls, etc.).
8. Perform weekly inventory checks and communicate when orders are needed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in hotel management preferred.
2. Basic experience in spreadsheets and operating computer programs.
3. Proven leadership experience in a hotel setting.
4. Exceptional communication skills and commitment to providing excellent service to hotel guests.
5. Excellent people skills.
