The Inspire Brands Foundation currently supports the philanthropic efforts of Inspire Brands and its portfolio of companies. Specifically, the Inspire Brands Foundation goes into the community as the Arby’s Foundation, BWW Foundation, JJ Foundation, the Sonic Foundation and the Inspire Brands Foundation.
The Director of Development leads the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and is responsible for growing current platforms and discovering new fundraising platforms.
This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with the expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow the Foundation’s Partner Program – an annual fundraising events platform focused on building donor relationships with Inspire’s vendor/suppliers.
Overall program design and fundraising
Building relationships with Inspire suppliers
Design and execution for all events
Manage and grow the Foundation’s annual Spark gala, the Foundation’s capstone experience focused on raising charitable support for workforce readiness initiatives.
Overall event vision
Manage agency relationships (execution and production)
All Spark fundraising
Identify new fundraising opportunities, platforms and campaigns including, but not limited to:
Commercial Co-Venture platforms
Consumer Packaged Goods opportunities
Foundation fundraising integration with digital platforms
Work with the Director of Impact to provide guidance on growing the Foundation’s in-restaurant fundraising campaigns.
Identifying growth opportunities by brand
Identifying engagement opportunities for franchisees
Manage Foundation digital presence related to fundraising including:
Web Strategy
Social Strategy
Other digital engagement opportunities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Required Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business related program
Minimum 10 years of experience with demonstrable experience in fundraising, event management and strategic planning. Candidate should be a strong communicator, relationship builder and an experienced people manager with strong relational skills.
