Our group is a multi-skilled team of Engineers and Scientists who work across all stages of the product and process development lifecycle, from the discovery interface through concept design and selection and, ultimately, the registrational submission and commercial supply.As an Associate Packaging Scientist for Container Closure System (CCS) development, with a focus on sterile applications, you will have responsibility for the development of CCS solutions within New Product Introduction (NPIs) progressing through Research & Development. You will work alongside a team of dedicated Packaging Development Scientists focussed on robust project delivery from early development through to product launch. We are looking for an enthusiastic scientist to support elements of multiple development work packages including glass delamination, container closure integrity, injectability of solutions and suspensions, compliance evaluation, regulatory support, and engagement with internal and external partners. These responsibilities include some of the following:Develop and/or execute primary packaging requirements to support qualification, registration, and launch of sterile drug products Recommend primary packaging components Complete and maintain primary packaging specifications Perform development packaging studies, such as stopper movement studies, platform CCI studies Perform development analytical testing of primary components such as extrusion force analysis, silicone layer distribution, leak detection testing, etc. Support clinical phase appropriate work packages such as glass delamination or transit stress assessment, including data and documentation management Support completion of IND/NDA, CTX/MAA Container Closure sections with supporting documentation Integrate platform, industry, and global developments in packaging, and their adoption to support new products Represent and collaborate with sterile drug product development teams to support clinical phase specific milestones, regulatory requirements, and compliance expectations Collaborate with colleagues in the early engagement and deviceability team, innovation and device engineering group to ensure robust/compliant sterile interface between primary packaging with its delivery system Why you?Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's or Master's Degree 1+ year experience working in the packaging and/or pharmaceutical industry.
