Overview:

We are seeking a Data Privacy Consultant with at least 7 years of experience to support a major insurance services client in implementing a pilot cookie consent management program utilizing OneTrust. This role requires a deep understanding of UCPM modules and a proven ability to drive successful project outcomes in a data privacy compliance environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of OneTrust modules, serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing privacy policies to automate privacy rights management, including Data Subject Rights Automation (DSAR), cookie consent, and privacy impact assessments.
  • Analyze cookies and categories to optimize consent management configuration in OneTrust.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal and client teams to ensure successful integration of OneTrust solutions within client environments.
  • Execute integration tasks using third-party APIs to facilitate data exchange and reporting.
  • Produce weekly status reports, documenting issues, risks, action items, and progress against planned activities.
  • Communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders, ensuring clarity in verbal and written communications.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years in SaaS systems implementation, preferably in Data Privacy Compliance or enterprise software services.
  • Proven experience in managing user consent mechanisms on websites or applications using OneTrust.
  • Expertise in configuring and implementing DSAR workflows within OneTrust, including API-based data source integration.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Experience working with third-party services for privacy compliance workflows, including privacy rights automation and consent management.
  • Successful track record in delivering enterprise IT projects as an individual contributor or team lead.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Must-Have Experience:

  • Experience working with DSAR and UCPM modules, including integration within the OneTrust platform.
  • Experience integrating opt-out/opt-in marketing consents selected within a DSAR web form with Universal Consent (UCPM).
  • Experience in building custom identity verification logic within OneTrust using API-based integration.
  • Experience in API-based integration for extracting data from multiple data sources in response to DSAR requests.
