Responsibilities
The Human Resources Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the Human Resources Department both in person and over the phone and performs administrative work for the HR department including scheduling, maintaining files, responding to inquires both written and in person, and answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees; responds to questions regarding standard policies, benefits, and the hiring process and refers from complex questions to the appropriate senior-level HR staff or management; assists with record maintenance, onboarding duties for new employees and provides clerical support for all employees in the departmen; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
The position will primarily be on the USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital campus but may float to USA Health University Hospital and USA Health Providence Hospital, as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience as a Human Resources assistant, staff assistant, secretary or related Human Resources or administrative position.
