About the Role
We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join our New York City office. This position includes Premises Liability, Products Liability, Professional Liability, Labor Law and Commercial Litigation. Associates work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation—from case evaluation and discovery to trial presentation—focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals. While skills in preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation are important, prior trial experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage litigation caseload, draft pleadings, motions, and attend depositions and court hearings.
- Opportunity to mediate, arbitrate, and try cases while learning from the firm’s experienced ABOTA trial attorneys.
- Excellent writing skills and proficient in legal research.

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Admission to the New York State Bar as well as admission to New Jersey or surrounding Tri-State area is a plus.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of civil/general litigation experience.
- Experience investigating and case handling with respect to research, discovery, depositions, and mediations.
- Strong litigation experience with a capacity to be a proactive team player.

- Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 plus bonus. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
