Job Description

The Construction Cost Analyst will be responsible for tracking all aspects of the accounting and finance operations for Vuori’s development projects. This includes working with the design and construction managers to track project costs, process invoices and pay applications, and oversee the financial closeout process for tenant allowance collection. The Cost Analysis will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial tracking tools to support decision making around future capital expenditures.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:

  1. Support the development team with accounting queries and assist in job cost creation and reconciliation.
  2. Prepare monthly reviews of job cost reports and project financial reporting for accuracy and alignment with budget; make corrections and updates as directed by project managers.
  3. Manage all financial aspects of project close-out as it relates to tenant allowance collection.
  4. Review approved contractor and vendor billing with the project managers for accuracy.
  5. Maintain financial files for all projects throughout the lifecycle.
  6. Support cross functional reporting and special projects in conjunction with the finance and accounting department.
  7. Prepare final budget reports upon job completion.
  8. Additional assignments upon request by the accounting and finance departments to support future retail decisions.

Who you are:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
  2. 4+ years' experience in construction accounting.
  3. Strong knowledge of Excel.
  4. Proficient in AIA formatted requisition billing.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, high sense of urgency and ownership of work, with a demonstrated ability to manage deadlines.
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and attention to detail.
  7. Communication, organization and analytical skills.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 per year - $85,000 per year.
