Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry in Redding, CA

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Telemetry

**Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 06:00 to 18:30, 36 hours per week
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week
**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in acute care hospital
**License:** Current and valid state RN License
**Certifications:** Current BLS (AHA), Current ACLS (AHA)
**Must-Have:**
- Cardiac Drips experience
- 12 lead EKG
- Previous acute care hospital experience
**Job Description:**
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit.
- Be directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Experience with MediTech EMR preferred.
