Position Summary
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing a cohesive strategic marketing vision and execution plan to drive stronger brand awareness and achieve AccuWeather's objectives of growth and visibility globally.
The Head of Marketing will oversee all marketing activities, including advertising campaigns, branding strategies, public relations, event marketing, social media, and CRM programs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop cohesive marketing strategies for US and international execution.
- Partner with the Business Development and Strategic Partnerships team to build proactive growth platforms.
- Leverage marketing mix to drive customer acquisition & retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive successful new product launches.
- Manage vendors and agencies and coordinate with internal staff functions.
- Develop and prioritize plans for international expansion and growth.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar field; an MBA is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience growing a brand and maximizing company revenue.
- Strong creative insight and ability to inspire others.
- Proven ability to work with and influence executives.
- Deep understanding of Digital Media.
- Experience leading a successful marketing team.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Pay Transparency:
State College, PA: $200,000 - $210,000 + annual bonus opportunity
New York, NY: $245,000 - $255,000 + annual bonus opportunity
