Job Summary

This position is responsible for gathering and assessing large complex business information needs for and preparing system requirements. Perform analysis, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment; which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Use data mining and data analysis tools. Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Program and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. Create specifications for reports based on business requests.

Required Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree and 4 years of data analysis and manipulation OR 8 years of data analysis and manipulation.
2. 4 years experience in SQL or BASIC programming language (i.e. SQL, JAVA, etc).
3. Experience with relational database concepts, and the creation of queries and reports using SQL or reporting tools (i.e., Cognos).
4. Experience in development implementations, data modeling, or data mapping efforts.
5. Analytical, conceptual and root cause analysis skills.
6. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously both independently and as part of a team to accomplish goals.
7. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
8. Experience developing reports using software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Cognos, or Crystal Reports.
9. Problem solving skills.
10. Experience with application development.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree.
